I want to share this so others don’t make the same mistake I did.
A while ago, I booked a rental car through emrcarrental.com because the price looked really good compared to other sites. Everything seemed normal at first — the website looked legit, and I got a confirmation after paying $5400.
But that’s where things started to go wrong.
When I arrived to pick up the car, the rental company either:
Had no record of my booking, or
Told me I needed to pay extra unexpected fees that weren’t mentioned before
I tried contacting support, but:
Responses were slow or nonexistent
I kept getting redirected or ignored
Getting a refund turned into a nightmare
In the end, I never got my money back.
What I learned:
If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is
Always check reviews outside the website
Be careful with third-party booking platforms you’ve never heard of
I’m posting this as a warning — if you’re considering using emrcarrental.com, do your research first.
If anyone has successfully gotten a refund from them, I’d really like to know how.
Stay safe out there.
